Job Summary
Design and implement backed APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and React while developing optimized PostgreSQL schemas and queries. Create modern UI components with TypeScript and reusable design patterns, then develop and maintain secure RESTful APIs for data access and integration. Support data migration efforts to ensure integrity between legacy and new systems, and plan application deployments with CI/CD pipelines. Ensure compliance with 508 accessibility and enterprise security practices. This role requires onsite work at a government facility in Chantilly, VA, with an annual base salary of $131,000 – $150,000. Technica provides innovative technology solutions for Department of Defense and Federal Agency customers.
Required Qualifications
- Active Top-Secret with SCI and CI Poly eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and/or experience
- 8+ years in full-stack developer experience
- Must have strong User Interface (UI) design and developing skills using React, JavaScript, and CSS
- Must have strong development experience required in the following technologies/areas: Java, Spring Framework/Security 6+, Spring Boot 3+, Hibernate 6+, SQL/PLSQL, PostgreSQL, RESTful APIs, Maven build tool, and Git/GitLab
- Must have experience with database design and data migration
- Additional experience required in the following technologies/areas: AWS (S3, EC2, ECS, Aurora, CloudWatch), Keycloak, Kubernetes, Maven, and Docker
- Experience with Agile and Scrum and Kanban frameworks/methodologies
- Experience with Atlassian tools to include Jira and Confluence
- Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tools and automation
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
- Excellent documentation skills
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills
- Self-motivated with strong initiative to help team grow
- Strong experience with C#
- ASP.NET MVC (web development)
- Object Oriented skills
- WCF or Web API
- Heavy SQL experience w/ Stored Procedures, Functions and PLSQL or Transactions
- Linq, JavaScript, JQuery , HTML
- The position would be located at a government facility in Chantilly, VA. and require work to be performed onsite
- Any hybrid work schedule would require customer approval
- Where allowed, remote work must be coordinated with the team lead and/or government POC, ensuring there is zero interruption with the delivery of our services
