Job Summary
Full-Stack Developer to design, build, and support applications powering credit, private credit, and structured products. You will work across the stack from databases and APIs to modern front-end interfaces, partner with solutions groups, portfolio managers, risk, operations, and IR, and help modernize analytics and reporting platforms. The role involves migrating legacy .NET/C# apps to scalable architectures, building data pipelines and tooling, and applying AI coding assistants to accelerate delivery while maintaining security and quality. Strong emphasis on end-to-end delivery, collaboration across technical and business teams, and producing auditable services with robust data quality and governance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, mathematics, physics, or another quantitative or hard-science discipline
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience
- Experience at a technology firm; capital markets, hedge fund, asset manager, investment bank, or financial technology vendor strongly preferred
- Proven track record delivering full-stack applications end-to-end
- Backend: Python or .NET and C#, REST APIs, asynchronous services
- Frontend: JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS, React/JQuery
- Strong SQL skills, relational databases; NoSQL/document stores a plus
- Git (or TFS), CI/CD, DevOps tooling, Confluence, testing
- Cloud: Azure or AWS experience a plus
- Tableau dashboard development; SSRS experience a plus
- Familiarity with fixed-income securities, bank loans, and credit instruments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent written and verbal communication
- Self-starter with ability to manage multiple workstreams under deadline pressure
- Detail-oriented with high standards for code quality, data accuracy, and operational discipline
