Job Summary
Full Stack Developer to design, build and maintain Ember and related integrations across the Microsoft ecosystem, contributing to Ember AI and the broader AI-enabled service model. Role involves developing and maintaining full stack applications, enhancing Ember, building AI-enabled features and integrations across Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and Azure, designing secure scalable integrations, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Hybrid role with regular on-campus time at Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. Technical focus includes .NET/C#, JavaScript/TypeScript, RESTful APIs, Git, automated testing, cloud-first development, and exposure to OpenAI/Microsoft AI technologies; experience in higher education or managed service environments is beneficial but not essential.
Required Qualifications
- Experience across front-end and back-end technologies
- Proficiency with .NET/C# and web technologies (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS)
- Experience with modern web frameworks
- Good understanding of Azure cloud services, Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform
- Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs
- Interest in AI-enabled products, automation and conversational technology
- Familiarity with Git, automated testing and structured delivery
- Strong problem-solving skills with focus on usability, security, reliability and performance
- Ability to analyze business processes and identify where technology can add value
- Curiosity about emerging Microsoft, OpenAI and cloud technologies
