Job Summary
Design and develop web applications for managing, visualizing, and interacting with IoT devices and their data. Implement secure and efficient APIs for communication between IoT devices, gateways, and the web platform while integrating third-party libraries, APIs, and cloud services to enhance functionalities. Monitor and maintain existing applications, ensuring reliability and performance through debugging, issue resolution, and feature enhancements based on user feedback. Ensure end-to-end security of IoT data, including secure authentication, encryption, and data transfer, adhering to industry standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or ISO/IEC 27001. Collaborate with hardware engineers, backend developers, and data scientists to ensure seamless integration and participate in team meetings to discuss technical challenges and roadmap planning.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with web development frameworks like React, Angular and custom development
- Proficiency in backend development using Node.js, Python (Django/Flask), or similar
- Solid understanding of IoT protocols such as MQTT, CoAP, HTTP, and WebSocket
- Experience with cloud platforms like AWS IoT, Azure IoT Hub, or Google IoT Core, WHM/Cpanel
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL) for handling IoT data
- Familiarity with API development and integration
- Skills in project planning, execution, and risk management, especially for large-scale IoT projects
- Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies
- Effective communication skills for working in cross-functional teams
- Ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders
- Problem-solving and critical thinking
- Adaptability to new technologies and tools
- Focus on user experience and design aesthetics
- Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve issues in IoT systems
- Willingness to stay updated with the latest technologies and trends
- Understanding of ethical considerations and privacy concerns related to IoT data collection and usage
- Domain-specific knowledge, such as healthcare, agriculture, smart cities, industrial automation, etc.
Desired Qualifications
