Job Summary
Maintain and enhance the existing software application by designing, coding, and delivering APIs across the data layer, application code, and user interface. Integrate with other software systems and databases while developing associated testing for Python-based applications using Flask, Django, or FastAPI. Work with the lead developer to build and deploy containers on AWS, utilizing SQL with SQLAlchemy or other ORM technologies. This role supports tactical data engineering solutions for intelligence analyst groups in Chantilly, VA, turning data into intelligence for immediate mission needs.
Required Qualifications
- Active TS/SCI with Polygraph Clearance (applicable to this customer)
- 5-7 years of experience with Python with development of an application in Flask, Django, FastAPI; including developing associated testing (unit and integration)
- 2-3 years of with SQL, familiarity with SQLAlchemy or other ORM technologies
- 1-3 years of experience with: JavaScript, TypeScript, and CSS
- 1-3 years of experience with: React, Angular, or Vue
- Developing on AWS
- Must be familiar with building and deploying containers
- Must be available for weekend shifts
Desired Qualifications
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field
