Job Summary
Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable applications for Global Financial Markets using modern frameworks and Java. Participate in architectural design for new and existing systems while implementing CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery. Work closely with quants, product managers, and developers to translate business needs into technical solutions and provide production troubleshooting to ensure application availability. Requires 5-8 years of experience with Java, Generative AI, and cloud platforms like Azure or AWS. Located in Guangzhou for regular full-time employment.
Required Qualifications
- 5-8 years of working experience
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
- Proven experience in software development
- Experience in the financial services industry
- Strong proficiency in Java
- Experience with or strong interest in Generative AI and Machine Learning concepts and applications
- Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, GCP, OCP) and cloud-native application development
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps)
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in an agile, fast-paced, and collaborative environment
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of financial markets products and processes
- Front-end development experience (e.g., JavaScript, React, Angular)
- Prior professional experience in FinTech, top-tier brokerages, investment banks, or quantitative hedge funds
