Job Summary
Design, develop, test, and deploy full-stack web applications using PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and SQL to power data dashboards, secure portals, and relational databases. Build clean APIs and responsive front-end features while integrating with third-party services like payment systems and EHRs. Participate in architecture reviews, write unit tests, and troubleshoot production defects. Partner with product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions and document workflows. This hybrid role between our Corona office and remote work supports improving access to healthcare for students and families.
Required Qualifications
- PHP (e.g., Zend, W3Schools, or vendor-specific)
- JavaScript (such as a recognized JS certification/credential)
- HTML/CSS (front-end or web development certifications)
- SQL / Database Development (e.g., Microsoft, Oracle, MySQL University)
- Strong experience with modern full-stack development using open-source and RESTful principles
- Solid understanding of relational database design and SQL query optimization
- Familiarity with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD workflows
- Experience with responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to performance and security
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, or Angular)
