Job Summary
Develop secure, scalable, and mission-critical applications using SpringBoot, Django, Flask, Angular, and React within government environments. Manage backend databases and search systems like Elasticsearch, Postgres, and MySQL while executing Agile practices and DevOps toolsets across AWS, on-prem, and standalone settings. Collaborate with Sponsor security teams to gain guidance, manage A&A processes, and achieve Authorization to Proceed for sensitive control overlays. Generate Body of Evidence documentation and support complex national security missions. Requires U.S. citizenship, active TS/SCI clearance, and 100% on-site availability.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizen
- Active TS/SCI security clearance
- Support program 100% on-site (no hybrid or remote work supported)
- Demonstrated experience as a full stack developer, including frontend and backend development with technology stacks such as SpringBoot, Django, Flask, Angular, jQuery, or Reaact
- Demonstrated experience with backend database and search systems such as Elasticsearch, JanusGraph, DataStax Graph, PostgresSQL, Mysql/MariaDB, SQLite
- Demonstrated experience with Agile practices and methodologies
- Demonstrated experience using programming languages such as Java, Python, Shell Scripting (Bash), Javascript
- Demonstrated experience using software engineering utilities such as Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, git, and Docker
- Demonstrated experience in the software development lifecycle, and delivering within DevOps toolsets
- Demonstrated experience with development in AWS, on-prem and standalone environments
- Demonstrated experience with development leveraging cloud data services (such as S3, RDS, SNS, SQS)
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience gaining Sponsor security guidance on and approval for Sponsor system security relevant changes
- Demonstrated experience working with Sponsor security on the Sponsor's A&A process
- Demonstrated experience achieving Authorization to Proceed for at least two Sponsor projects to include sensitive control overlays
- Demonstrated experience generating Body of Evidence documentation in support of the Sponsor's A&A process
- Demonstrated experience with interpreted coding languages, such as Python and JavaScript
- Demonstrated experience with common database software, such as SQL
- Demonstrated experience with common markup languages, such as JSON and XML
- B.S. Degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or comparable area of study
- CompTIA Security+
