Job Summary
Architect robust lab integrations and craft agentic features that guide scientists through complex discovery workflows. Optimize backend logic and refine responsive UI components to ship impactful product updates for SDLabs®, the Atinary platform. Engage in meaningful code reviews and collaborate with peers to close the loop between physical experimentation and digital analysis. This Full Stack Developer role requires strong knowledge of TypeScript, Python, React, and Django, along with experience building single-page applications and working with LLM-guided development. Candidates must possess excellent communication skills and a Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or scientific field. The position offers a hybrid schedule with two home office days per week and flexible working hours for this fast-growing AI startup in Lausanne.
Required Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of TypeScript and/or Python
- Experience building single-page applications and engaging user interfaces
- Backend development experience with a focus on maintainability and performance
- Working experience with LLM-guided development
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex problems and generating actionable insights
- Excellent communication in English, enabling effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical team members
- Bachelor's or preferably Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Chemistry, Bioinformatics, or a related field
- Only candidates who are legally authorized to work in Switzerland
- Candidates need to be prepared to submit two references from past employers and clients
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge in distributed architectures
- Experience with AWS
- Knowledge in data engineering and/or automation
- Experience working in a regulated environment (e.g. HIPAA, SOC 2)
- Knowledge in Chemistry and/or biochemistry
