Job Summary
Manage multiple teams to establish and implement new application systems, conducting personnel duties and driving systems analysis and programming activities. Design and architect secure, resilient full-stack applications supporting complex Agentic AI workflows, enforcing technical standards and evaluating emerging frameworks. Lead hands-on development across the stack using React, TypeScript, Python, and Java, while orchestrating autonomous agents and integrating with the Arc platform and R2D2 gateway. Architect data models for relational and vector databases to support stateful AI operations, ensuring compliance with network policies and resource quotas. This senior management role drives technical delivery within Citi's Applications Development team, focusing on scalable microservices and AI agent integration.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Strong manager capabilities with a track record of mentoring engineers and driving technical delivery
- Analytical mindset with a passion for solving complex, ambiguous problems in a fast-paced environment
- Deep expertise in React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3
- Advanced proficiency in Python (FastAPI, Flask, Celery) and/or Java (Spring Boot, Spring Cloud)
- Proven experience with LangChain, LangGraph
- Solid understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), vector embeddings, semantic search
- Strong experience with RESTful APIs, gRPC, WebSockets, and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes / Red Hat OpenShift, Docker, and CI/CD platforms (Harness, Jenkins, or Tekton)
- Strong understanding of enterprise security concepts, including OAuth2, OIDC, TLS, HashiCorp Vault etc
- Experience with SQL (PostgreSQL, Oracle) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Couchbase) databases
- Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
