Job Summary
Conduct regular therapy sessions for assigned clients, including individual, group, and family counseling, while actively participating in treatment plans and coordinating care with psychiatrists and other disciplines. Document therapeutic interactions, progress notes, and outcomes measures accurately in client charts and weekly summaries. Assist in discharge planning, establish contact with school personnel, and escort clients to appointments as needed. Maintain daily provider logs, SAMIS entries, and Medicaid billing assignments while reporting signs of abuse or neglect. Attend treatment team meetings and utilize supervision to ensure professional growth and adherence to agency guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Master's Degree from an accredited university in the area of social work or counseling with 2+ years of relevant experience
- MUST be a Registered Intern in the State of Florida
- Driver's License Must be in good standing
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Proficient in computer programs and software
