Job Summary

Register guests, manage reservations, and handle guest requests during the overnight shift from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. Prepare daily reports, balance transactions, and execute the End of Day process. Conduct security walks to verify building and guest corridor safety, remove room service trays, and ensure all areas are locked. Maintain Front Office computer systems, process cashiering duties, and distribute work according to standard operating procedures. Train new Night Auditors as requested and deliver express check-outs. Complete all required reports, including the Daily Flash Report and morning summaries, while maintaining radio contact with associates throughout the shift.

Required Qualifications

At least 1 year of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field
High School diploma or equivalent
Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision
Knowledge of Accounting Principles
Must be able to problem solve and troubleshoot to resolve guest issues that may arise and respond to emergency situations
Must be proficient in Windows operating systems, company approved spreadsheets and word processing
Must be able to convey information and ideas clearly
Must be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
Must work well in stressful, high-pressure situations
Must be effective in handling problems in the workplace, including anticipating, preventing, identifying and solving problems, as necessary
