Job Summary
Prepare menu items to recipe specifications while executing multiple stations during service at a full-service restaurant kitchen. Maintain food safety standards, set up and break down stations, and cook simultaneously while adhering to portion standards and plating specifications. Work on your feet for up to 12 hours, lifting up to 50 pounds, and ensure a clean, organized workstation throughout each shift. Requires minimum two years of recent line cook experience in grill, sauté, and fry stations, plus a 10-year airport background check.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent line cook experience in a full-service restaurant
- Hands-on experience working grill, sauté, and fry stations during busy meal periods
- Able to cook multiple menu items simultaneously while maintaining quality, consistency, and ticket times
- Strong understanding of proper food handling, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices
- Experience following recipes, portion standards, and plating specifications
- Able to set up, stock, and break down stations for service
- Works efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented kitchen
- Dependable with excellent attendance and a strong work ethic
- Must be able to pass a required 10-year airport background check
- Must be able to work on your feet for up to 12 hours
- Must be able to lift products and supplies weighing 20 pounds
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Experience at restaurants similar to: Full-service casual dining, upscale casual, breweries, steakhouses, seafood restaurants, hotel restaurants, or chef-driven concepts where they've regularly worked grill, sauté, and fry stations
