Job Summary
Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN care, manage obstetric emergencies, and perform deliveries and gynecologic procedures. Collaborate with nursing staff, hospital leadership, and community physicians to support patient safety initiatives and foster relationships with referring providers. Deliver approximately one third of the year under a 5 on, 10 off schedule at Mercy Hospital Southeast, a Level III NICU facility recognized as a High Performing Hospital for Maternity Care.
Required Qualifications
- Full scope OB/GYN
- Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN care
- Manage obstetric emergencies and unassigned patients
- Perform deliveries and gynecologic procedures
- Collaborate with nursing staff, hospital leadership, and community physicians
- Support patient safety initiatives through interdisciplinary collaboration
- Foster strong relationships with referring providers and hospital teams
- 5 on, 10 off schedule
- Full-time schedule with just 10 working days each month
- Level III NICU providing advanced neonatal care
- Approximately 670 annual deliveries
- Collaborative, team-based practice environment with experienced nursing and specialty support
