Job Summary
Support the Store Manager to manage all aspect of the store operations and lead the sales team members to ensure commercial objectives are achieved; deputising Store Manager absence when required. Responsibilities include demonstrating excellent selling behaviours, coaching and developing the team to deliver sales targets, overseeing the sales floor with strong Floor Control, using CSAT insights to improve customer experience, delivering Visual Merchandising and store standards, building product knowledge to drive sales, prioritising tasks to meet business needs, providing regular feedback to motivate the team, managing people issues to avoid escalation, and building capability to manage the store in the absence of the store manager.
Required Qualifications
- Good retail experience including in a management role
- Strong coaching skills
- Effective communicator who can provide clarity to individuals or team on what is required of them and why
- Ability to inspire and motivate a store team through injecting pride, passion and energy to create a positive working environment.
- Proficient in supporting with people processes and team development
- Good experience in delivering and exceeding sales and targets
- Proactive with good organisation skills to initiate completion of tasks without direction or supervision
- Good commercial skills
- IT proficient with the ability to use a range of systems to manage in store activity
- Good knowledge of and experience in Visual Merchandising
