Job Summary
Deter criminal activity and misconduct through foot and/or vehicle patrols while controlling access to buildings and sites. Compose detailed activity and incident reports, fill out forms, and perform other duties specified in post orders. Maintain professional interactions with the public and utilize basic Android-based smartphone skills for daily operations. Candidates must hold an active Texas DPS Non-Commissioned (Unarmed) Security Officer license, pass a background check, and demonstrate reliable transportation for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts, including weekends, up to 40 hours weekly. Medical insurance and paid vacation are provided.
Required Qualifications

- licensed to work as Non-Commissioned Security Officer by Texas DPS
- Work flexible shifts up to 40 hours per week
- Have access to reliable transportation
- Pass background check, including criminal history, personal references, employment and education verifications
- Provide military discharge document with discharge status indicated, if applicable
- Demonstrate the ability to interact professionally with the public
- Read, speak and understand the English language fluently
- Basic Android-based smart-phone skills
- Prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms
- Texas DPS Non-Commissioned (Unarmed) Security Officer License (Active)
- Texas DPS Non-Commissioned (Unarmed) Security Officer License (Expired/Inactive)
