Job Summary
Assess, plan, and organize rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent deformity for patients with disease or injury. Collaborate with physicians to establish treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans while implementing appropriate activities to progress patients toward objectives. Document evaluations, sessions, and education materials per departmental guidelines, and provide discharge instructions and referrals to community resources. Revises plans with patient and family input, participates in staff meetings, and adheres to infection prevention and ethical business standards. Full or part-time role with mandatory BLS certification; connects with Georgia's integrated health system.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- All certifications required upon hire unless otherwise stated
- BLS - Instructor
- Effective communication skills
