Job Summary
Assess, plan, and organize rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, and decrease deformity in patients with disease or injury. Collaborate with physicians to establish treatment programs, goals, and discharge plans while revising these based on patient and family input. Implement treatment activities, provide ongoing education, and offer discharge instructions and referrals to community resources. Document evaluations, treatment sessions, and family education materials according to departmental guidelines and protocols. Adhere to ethical business practices, infection prevention precautions, and dress code policies while communicating effectively with all team members. Participate in staff meetings and orientation of new employees.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Master's Degree in Physical Therapy
- Doctorate in Physical Therapy
- All certifications required upon hire unless otherwise stated
- BLS - Instructor
- Effective communication skills
- Customer service focused
- Team oriented
- Basic computer skills
