Job Summary
Direct rehab care in physical therapy to patients upon physician referral, implementing and evaluating treatment plans to improve functional progress and quality of life. Oversee and evaluate care provided by PTAs, Rehab Aides, and students while liaising with patients, families, and support departments. Interpret department programs, goals, and policies in adherence to all laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Maintain confidentiality, follow safety protocols, and utilize therapy software accurately. Full-time or PRN schedule with flexible scheduling; benefits include 401(k) match, comprehensive medical/dental/vision, and vacation. New grads welcome with accredited degree; one year post-acute experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy, BSPT, MSPT, or DPT (2003 or later must have MSPT or DPT)
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and e mail
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year experience in post acute care or related setting preferred
