Job Summary
Provide direct rehab care to patients upon physician referral in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Implement and interpret department programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures while overseeing and evaluating care given by PTAs, Rehab Aides, and PT/PTA students. Perform competency areas including patient rights, safety, and sanitation; liaise with patients, families, and support departments; and utilize therapy software accurately. Maintain confidentiality, follow company policies, and exhibit professionalism by adhering to the Code of Conduct. Work in a supportive, patient-centered environment where an interdisciplinary team collaborates on long-term and sub-acute rehabilitation.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program in physical therapy, BSPT, MSPT, or DPT (2003 or later must have MSPT or DPT)
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year experience in post acute care or related setting preferred
