Job Summary
Provide direct rehabilitation care as a Physical Therapist to patients under physician referral in Life Care Centers of America SNF facilities. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of nursing, therapy, and medical staff to help patients achieve functional progress in post-acute and long-term care settings. Typical responsibilities include following established PT treatment plans, supervising PTAs and rehab aides, utilizing therapy software, and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Graduate of an accredited PT program (BSPT/MSPT/DPT); new grads welcome; strong communication skills required; sign-on bonus available; location is Washington, DC.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program (BSPT/MSPT/DPT)
- Current or eligible Physical Therapist licensure in the United States
- New grads welcome
- Ability to read, write, and understand English
- Proficiency with basic software (Word, Excel, email) and willingness to engage in interdisciplinary collaboration
