Job Summary
Provides evaluations and develops individualized treatment plans for adults with chronic illnesses and developmental disabilities in Adult Day Health, facilitates therapeutic groups, and collaborates with an interdisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care. Responsible for staff training on fall prevention, transfers, and back safety; coordinates and facilitates walking programs; analyzes program quality and makes improvement recommendations; maintains required documentation to meet WAC guidelines and organization policy; supports mission and values of Full Life Care and Transforming Age. Applies licensure requirements and health-safety standards to deliver patient-centered occupational therapy and promote client independence.
Required Qualifications
- Must be licensed in Washington state as an Occupational Therapist
- Must have CPR certification
- Complete HIV/AIDS information course
- Annual influenza vaccine unless medically/religiously exempt
