Job Summary

Provide non-medical care tasks to clients as outlined in their care plans, including personal care, bathing, toileting, dressing, transfers, ambulation, and positioning. Guide and actively assist Homecare Aides with various client needs and serve as an on-site problem-solver for both the aide and the client. Facilitate communication between the client, Homecare Aide, and Homecare Supervisor, while promptly communicating client changes to supervisors. Participate in team meetings to discuss client concerns and program updates, and assist with clerical tasks such as payroll entry, filing, orientations, and processing applications. Maintain strict confidentiality of all client information and demonstrate knowledge of all homecare training procedures and tools.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of one (1) year of professional work experience
  • Completion of all required state-mandated training and certifications
  • Ability to complete tasks and projects as assigned by your supervisor
  • Proficiency (written/verbal) in English language
  • Strong organizational skills to prioritize and complete tasks in a timely manner
  • Availability to be reached and respond quickly to client emergencies
  • Ability to lift up to 25 lbs
  • Capability to travel intermittently throughout the day
  • Ability to assist clients with walking, transferring, and bathing

Desired Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or GED
  • Experience with Hoyer lifts
  • Completion of Nurse Delegation training
  • Completion of Nurse Delegation for Diabetes training
