Job Summary
Senior-level Full-Charge Bookkeeper responsible for performing full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients across various industries, reconciling general ledger discrepancies, and preparing Washington State taxes (Payroll, Excise, B&O, and personal property tax). Ensure financial records are accurate and tax-ready, communicate with clients about accounting needs, and train/mentor junior staff. Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop/Online, Xero, Excel, Word, payroll platforms (ADP, Paychex, Gusto), and sales platforms (Shopify, Square, Amazon, TikTok) is required. Hybrid work arrangement in Auburn, WA with client-facing responsibilities across a public accounting environment.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience as a Full-Charge Bookkeeper or in accounting
- Experience working with multiple clients (public accounting or client-facing environment preferred)
- Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and retained earnings
- Experience with Washington State Department of Revenue and payroll compliance
- Proficiency with QuickBooks Desktop & QuickBooks Online
- Xero accounting software
- Microsoft Excel (advanced) and Word
- Payroll platforms (ADP, Paychex, Gusto)
- Sales platforms (Shopify, Square, Amazon, TikTok)
