Full Charge Bookkeeper

Job Summary
The Full Charge Bookkeeper manages the full cycle of accounting across multiple entities, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, monthly/quarterly/year-end closes, and preparation of financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow). Responsibilities also include bank and credit card reconciliations, fixed assets and depreciation, multi-state sales tax compliance and filing, cash flow projections, budgeting reports and financial analysis, inventory tracking and cost allocation across assets, liabilities, and COGS, as well as WIP/job costing across entities using the Percentage of Completion method. The role serves as payroll backup as needed and requires proficiency in QuickBooks Online, GAAP knowledge, construction accounting, and Google Workspace/Sheets; in-office in Orlando, FL.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of full charge bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online required; Enterprise Online a plus
- Strong knowledge of GAAP principles
- Experience with multi-state sales tax compliance and filing
- Construction accounting knowledge, including job costing, WIP schedules, and Percentage of Completion Method
- Familiarity with inventory tracking and cost allocation
- Working knowledge of payroll processing
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Sheets
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
