Job Summary
Conduct clinical care for nearly 40,000 annual patients while leading the pediatric residency program and training over 100 residents, 120 medical students, and allied health professionals. Manage research portfolios focused on pediatric population health, health services research, and health equity, leveraging $2 million in annual federal, state, and foundation grant funding. Collaborate across the Institute of Health System Science and the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research to inform program and policy changes. Prioritize interdisciplinary, community-engaged research with a health equity focus, contributing to the Division's expansion into satellite locations in Queens and Nassau County.
Required Qualifications
- M.D. and/or PhD or equivalent degree
- demonstrated excellent qualifications in education and research
- clinician-educators or clinician-investigators
- record or promise of external research funding
- greater experience following graduate training
- established track record of high impact publication and extramural funding
