Job Summary
Professor position in the Division of General Pediatrics at Cohen Children's Medical Center and the Zucker School of Medicine is seeking clinician-educators or clinician-investigators for Full/Associate/Assistant Professor ranks. Candidates should have an M.D. and/or Ph.D. or equivalent, with demonstrated excellence in education and research. Focus areas include Advocacy and Community Health, Children and Adolescents with Medical Complexity, Transition to Adulthood and Adult Care Services, and Obesity/Weight Management. Candidates with strong external funding potential and a track record of high-impact publications are preferred. The division emphasizes interdisciplinary and community-engaged research with a health equity focus and will involve appointments in the Department of Pediatrics, with affiliations to the Institute of Health System Science within the Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research. The division serves a large patient population, trains residents and students, and is expanding to satellite locations in Queens and Nassau County.
