Job Summary
Lead daily workflow by assigning tasks, setting priorities, and balancing labor to meet production and shipping schedules. Perform hands-on material handling including loading, unloading, staging, put-away, and replenishment while guiding the team. Coordinate inbound and outbound activities, communicate status updates to supervisors and internal customers, and verify inventory counts to resolve discrepancies. Operate material-handling equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely, train team members on standard procedures, and maintain safety and housekeeping standards by ensuring clear aisles and reporting hazards. Escalate equipment, quality, or staffing concerns and assist with shift handoffs. Requires forklift certification, [2+] years of warehouse experience, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift experience required
- Ability to obtain/maintain certification (as applicable)
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift/move up to [50] lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work around moving equipment and in a warehouse/production environment
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- [2+] years of warehouse/manufacturing materials experience
- prior lead experience preferred
- Comfortable using scanners and basic computer functions (email, data entry)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to prioritize work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable attendance
