Job Summary
Monitor and assure compliance to State and Federal Rules and Regulations, FDA requirements, and manufacturer contractual Adverse Event and Product Complaint clinical requirements. Provide oversight and quality assurance to pharmacy technicians, perform product verification of technician prepared items, and address orders with patient specific special handling requests. Replenish automated counting equipment, fill liquid orders requiring pharmacist dispensing, and manage the opening, closing, and securing of the pharmacy during production hours. Direct supervision of technicians working in all areas of the pharmacy is required. This onsite role at the St. Louis, MO fulfillment center involves a 4x10 schedule (Sunday, Monday, Thursday, Friday - 5AM-3:30PM CST) with on-call backup duties as assigned by management.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of ACPE Accreditation School of Pharmacy with a B.S. Pharmacy or Pharm.D, degree
- Current active Missouri pharmacist license in good standing
- Ability to read and interpret prescriptions
- Ability to work a flexible schedule for peak volume times
- If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload

- At least 1 year of pharmacy experience preferred
- Advanced problem solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to resolve issues
