Job Summary
Accurately dispense medication and fulfill orders by preparing, packaging, and labeling bottles, vials, and oral suspensions. Track and manage inventory to ensure availability and compliance with pharmacy regulations, while monitoring supplies and replenishing as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and precise distribution to healthcare providers. This role requires valid Pharmacy Technician certification from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy, minimum two years of experience in a pharmacy setting with emphasis on compounding, and strong organizational skills. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM, with hours potentially adjusted based on business needs. Southend Pharmacy is a modern 503A compounding pharmacy focused on clinical precision and longevity-aligned therapeutics.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Pharmacy Technician certification from the Texas State Board of Pharmacy
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a pharmacy setting, with emphasis on compounding and fulfillment
- Strong organizational and time management skills with meticulous attention to detail
- Experience maintaining consistent punctuality and reliability, with the ability to effectively adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic pharmacy environment
- Monday through Friday from 9:30 AM – 6:00 PM
- 8 hours per day excluding breaks
Desired Qualifications
- Current Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential from the PTCB
- Prior experience using Google Docs and related Google Workspace applications
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems such as Lifefile, PioneerRx, or QS/1
- Previous experience in a compounding pharmacy environment
