Job Summary
Lead fulfillment operations by planning daily/weekly workload, picking, prepping, packing, and shipping products safely to meet delivery and freshness standards. Ensure every team member understands and delivers on guest experience commitments while actively observing, providing feedback, and holding team members accountable. Review area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities, take action to improve, and align the team on right behaviors and execution. Model service culture expectations, coach team members to close skill gaps, and evaluate candidates for open positions. Lead a team of hourly team members through interviewing, developing, and retaining talent while ensuring compliance with food safety, physical security, and merchandise protection strategies. Support your direct leader in onboarding, establish clear goals around quality and accuracy, and assist with store-level leadership duties as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Previous retail experience preferred, but not required
- Lead and hold others accountable
- Learn and adapt to current technology needs
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Effective communication skills
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Interpret instructions, reports and information
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds without additional assistance from others
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and reliable and prompt attendance necessary
