Job Summary
Deliver guest experience commitments by ensuring team members are trained and consistently execute operations. Actively observe and provide feedback while reviewing area metrics to identify opportunities and drive results. Plan daily and weekly workloads to support business priorities and fulfill orders to meet delivery and freshness standards. Lead a team of hourly members through interviewing, coaching, and evaluating talent while holding them accountable for quality, accuracy, and timeliness. Enable efficient delivery by managing pickup and ship workload, ensuring food safety guidelines are followed, and addressing store emergency needs. Occasionally assume store-level leadership responsibilities to enable the guest experience during assigned shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Previous retail experience preferred, but not required
- Lead and hold others accountable
- Learn and adapt to current technology needs
- Work independently and as part of a team
- Manage workload and prioritize tasks independently
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Effective communication skills
- Access all areas of the building to respond to guest or team member issues
- Interpret instructions, reports and information
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds without additional assistance from others
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays) and reliable and prompt attendance necessary

- Retail business fundamentals, including department sales trends, inventory management, guest shopping patterns, pricing and promotions strategies
- Planning department(s) daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver sales goals
- Process improvements and workload efficiency
- Leading a team of hourly team members, including skills in interviewing, developing, coaching, evaluating, and retaining talent
