Job Summary
Oversee daily pharmacy fulfillment operations, coach pharmacy technicians, manage onboarding, scheduling, and end-to-end fulfillment (picking, packing, shipping), troubleshoot automation, ensure quality and regulatory compliance, collaborate with pharmacists and cross-functional teams, maintain inspection-ready environment, and step in to support processing as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Willingness to obtain an Illinois Pharmacy Technician license and CPhT within a defined timeframe after hire.
- At least 2 years of people-management experience in a high-volume setting (operations, fulfillment, manufacturing, warehouse, retail, or similar), including coaching, performance evaluations, and day-to-day performance management.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team in a fast-paced fulfillment environment.
- Empathy, patience, and professionalism in all interactions with patients and colleagues.
- Strong critical thinking, judgment, and decision-making skills, particularly under time pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure order accuracy and compliance.
- Comfort working with automation and technology-enabled workflows.
- Proactive, improvement-focused mindset with experience contributing to cross-functional problem solving.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and a highly collaborative working style.
