Job Summary
Load bananas and other products into outbound trucks following delivery schedules, verifying quantities and inspecting items for quality before loading. Operate motorized equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks, free stack cases into trailers, and use scanners to track product movement. Maintain a clean and organized loading area while physically lifting cases up to 70+ pounds. Work full-time swing shifts from afternoon to night, four days a week with weekends off, in a refrigerated environment. This role supports Capitol Distributing's production line as the largest convenience wholesale distributor in Idaho, ensuring a consistent flow of product to retailers across the Western United States.
Required Qualifications
- Must be 18 years old
- Full-time employees must be able to work overtime, based on business needs and operational demands
- Ability to lift cases up to 70+ pounds
- Ability to handle loading equipment safely
- Schedule: Full-time swing shifts 4 days a week (afternoon to night) with 1 weekend day required
- Shifts will be 10 -12 hours in duration with 3 consecutive days off
