Job Summary
Build initial teams, establish procedures, metrics, and processes for inbound or outbound operations. Lead Area Managers and hourly associates while developing operational procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments, inventory accuracy, and product disposition. Guide strategic planning, forecasting, and career progression for teammates using the Warehouse Management System to improve perfect order fulfillment. Champion a customer-focused mentality to ensure operational decisions support high-quality experiences. Maintain benchmark levels of safety, efficiency, quality, productivity, and continuous improvement within the building and supply chain. Report to a Senior Operations Manager and work onsite in the Ontario, CA fulfillment center on day shift from Wednesday through Saturday.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Distribution, Logistics or related field
- 4+ years of management experience in fulfillment center/warehouse operations
- Experience developing and managing 50+ employees
- At least 3 years of management experience in Receiving, Inventory Control, or Order Fulfillment
- Experience using Kaizens or process improvement
Desired Qualifications
- prefer retail/e-commerce and apparel experience
