Job Summary
Operate material handling equipment (Reach & Forklift) for warehouse maneuvers and execute daily Core & Support activities including Receiving, Picking, Staging, Shipping, Special Orders, Quality Control, and Inventory Auditing. Propose and lead initiatives for process improvements across all DC activities while enforcing best practices in Health & Safety. Take accountability for these operations and develop action plans when results are not met. This role involves working physically with lifting up to 49 lbs in variable temperatures, Monday to Friday from 7:00am to 3:00pm, with a competitive salary of $23/h plus eligibility for a 10% bonus. You will be building a newly opened operation from the ground up as part of Cozey's mission to become the world's leading furniture company.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to work physically: standing, moving and lifting up to 49 lbs (22kg) in variable temperatures
- 2+ years experience operating material handling equipment (Reach & Forklift) in a production environment (distribution center, warehouse, factory)
- Mandatory forklift and reach operator license (proof required)
- Attention to detail and ability to follow multi-step processes
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Eligible to work in Canada
