Job Summary
Load and unload product to and from delivery vehicles, sort materials by size, type, or product code, and convey items from receiving areas to storage or packing stations. Use RF guns to pick products and warehouse management systems to process inbound and outbound orders, restock facilities, and maintain inventory records. Assemble customer orders onto pallets or shelves, mark materials with identifying information, and inspect products for defects prior to shipping. Weigh or count items for distribution, open containers, and perform routine housekeeping. Fill requisitions for materials and tools accurately and timely.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
- Minimum 1 to 3 months of related experience
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Ability to perform these operations using units of American currency and weight measurement, volume, and distance
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one- or two-step instructions
- Ability to complete duties with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables
- Ability to multitask
- General computer knowledge
