Job Summary
Loads and unloads trucks with petroleum products adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations while safely operating vehicles according to state and federal laws. Maintains vehicle cleanliness, performs safety inspections on trucks and equipment, and checks daily items including oil, water, fuel, and tires. Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established procedures and coordinates with dispatchers on a daily basis. Requires a valid Class A or B CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, plus a TWIC credential. Availability includes weekends and extended hours as business needs require.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Acceptable driving record that meets company and DOT/FMCSA requirements
- Hazmat endorsement
- Tanker endorsement
- Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) or ability to obtain one within 30 days after hire
- Ability to successfully complete DOT required pre-employment drug testing
- Subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Must meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA qualification standards, including a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate
- Availability to work weekends and extended hours as business needs require
