Job Summary
Loads and unloads trucks with petroleum products while safely operating vehicles in compliance with state/federal laws and Company policies. Perform daily maintenance checks on oil, water, fuel, tires, and tank items, then maintain vehicle cleanliness and conduct required safety inspections. Complete and transmit all paperwork according to established procedures and coordinate daily communications with dispatchers. Deliver petroleum products to company-owned sites and customers while adhering to all governmental regulations. Availability includes weekends and extended hours as business needs require.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Acceptable driving record that meets company and DOT/FMCSA requirements
- Hazmat endorsement
- Tanker endorsement
- Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) or ability to obtain one within 30 days after hire
- Ability to successfully complete DOT required pre-employment drug testing
- Subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Must meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA qualification standards
- Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate
- Availability to work weekends and extended hours as business needs require
