Job Summary
Operate company fuel delivery trucks safely while loading, transporting, and unloading petroleum products in strict compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations and hazardous material handling requirements. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintain equipment, and submit delivery documentation and logs accurately. Travel approximately 75% of the time to support customer locations, communicating effectively with dispatchers and operations personnel. Maintain a strong commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and customer service while working weekends and extended hours as needed. Quarterly and monthly performance bonuses are available after 120 days of employment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A or Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Acceptable driving record that meets company and DOT/FMCSA requirements
- Hazmat endorsement
- Tanker endorsement
- Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) or ability to obtain one within 30 days after hire
- Ability to successfully complete DOT required pre-employment drug testing
- Subject to random drug and alcohol testing in accordance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Must meet and maintain DOT and FMCSA qualification standards, including a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate
- Availability to work weekends and extended hours as business needs require
