Job Summary
Fuel Transport Driver responsible for loading, hauling, and delivering fuel to customers. Role includes completing pre- and post-trip inspections, maintaining accurate logs and bill of ladings, monitoring loading/unloading processes, and ensuring proper tank readings. Requires a valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement (and other FMCSA endorsements as required), clean driving record, and ability to perform physically demanding tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs). Day trips with limited over-the-road travel across multiple states; duties emphasize safety, equipment inspection, documentation, and strong customer service.
Required Qualifications
- One or more years tanker experience and/or two or more years experience over the road
- Possess a valid Class A CDL
- Able to obtain Hazmat endorsement
- Able to obtain other FMCSA endorsements as required by the Company
- Acceptable driving record
- Strong customer service skills
- Able to sit for extended periods of time
- Able to drive for extended periods of time
- Able to climb stairs and ladders, kneel, bend, and stoop
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to push or pull equipment, hoses, and other items
- Able to move about loading, unloading, and customer sites to complete responsibilities
