Job Summary
Load, haul, and deliver fuel for customers across over 40 states, primarily on day trips with limited OTR. Complete all pre and post trip inspections, report maintenance or suspicious findings immediately, and monitor the load/unload process while ensuring hoses and equipment remain in good working order. Follow company safety standards, maintain legal logs, keep bills of lading accurate, document tank readings, and enter all load documentation into the system by shift end. Deliver weekly log and inspection information to management and ensure all drops are in the appropriate tank at the correct location. Follow all applicable traffic laws and ensure the truck, trailer, and associated equipment are clean and operational. Report any incidents or mechanical issues immediately to management.
Required Qualifications
- One or more years tanker experience and/or two or more years experience over the road
- Possess a valid Class A CDL
- Able to obtain Hazmat endorsement
- Acceptable driving record
- Able to obtain other FMCSA endorsements as required by the Company
- Able to sit for extended periods of time
- Able to drive for extended periods of time
- Able to climb stairs and ladders, kneel, bend, and stoop
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to push or pull equipment, hoses, and other items
- Able to move about loading, unloading, and customer sites to complete responsibilities
