Job Summary
Fuel Transport Driver responsible for loading, hauling, and delivering fuel across routes with an emphasis on safety, compliance, and efficient documentation. Responsibilities include performing pre/post trip inspections, maintaining accurate logs and tank readings, ensuring proper loading/unloading procedures, monitoring hose connections and equipment, and delivering to customer sites while adhering to FMCSA regulations. Preferred candidate will have tanker experience (1+ year) and over-the-road experience (2+ years), valid Class A CDL with Hazmat endorsement, clean driving record, and ability to obtain additional FMCSA endorsements. Strong customer service and physical ability to sit, drive long periods, and lift up to 50 lbs are required.
Required Qualifications
- One or more years tanker experience and/or two or more years experience over the road
- Possess a valid Class A CDL
- Able to obtain Hazmat endorsement
- Acceptable driving record
- Able to obtain other FMCSA endorsements as required by the Company
- Strong customer service skills
- Able to sit for extended periods of time
- Able to drive for extended periods of time
- Able to climb stairs and ladders, kneel, bend, and stoop
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Able to push or pull equipment, hoses, and other items
- Able to move about loading, unloading, and customer sites to complete responsibilities
