Job Summary
Transport and deliver hazardous materials (diesel) in a full-size tanker trailer to customers in the Oklahoma market, applying skills in commercial driving and knowledge of hazmat safety and DOT regulations. Perform thorough pre and post trip inspections and adhere to all DOT, Hazmat, and Texas Pride Fuels safety regulations. Maintain accurate ELD logs and customer delivery documentation while communicating with logistics partners to ensure customer needs are met. Requires Class A CDL with Hazmat and Tanker endorsements, minimum 2 years of Class A and tanker driving experience, and ability to pass a DOT physical. Schedule includes 5 days on/2 days off, then 5 days on/3 days off, with 60-70 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements (X)
- Operation of manual transmission (No E Restriction)
- Minimum of 2 years Class A truck driving experience
- Minimum of 2 years Tanker/Fluid truck driving experience
- Must be registered on the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse prior to start
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam
- Must have knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations governing safe driving, Hours of Service, inspection and maintenance basics
- Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the U.S. DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION
- Must satisfactorily pass a drug test, alcohol test, and background check
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the work and the industry
- Must be insurable with the company
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to proficiently speak, write, and read the English language
