Job Summary
Transport and deliver diesel fuel using a Class A tanker-trailer from terminal to customers in east Texas, following DOT, Hazmat and company safety rules. Perform pre/post-trip inspections, maintain accurate ELD logs and delivery documentation, and coordinate with logistics partners to meet customer needs. Requires 2+ years of Class A driving and tanker experience, Hazmat endorsement, ability to operate manual transmission, valid DOT medical and drug/alcohol clearances, and strong English communication. Competitive pay starting at $25/hour with raises, sign-on bonus, per diem, PTO, and benefits; 60-70 hours/week on a rotating schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Class A CDL with Hazmat & Tanker endorsements (X)
- Operation of manual transmission (No E Restriction)
- Minimum of 2 years Class A truck driving experience
- Minimum of 2 years Tanker/Fluid truck driving experience
- Must be registered on the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse prior to start
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Knowledge of Department of Transportation Compliance
- Knowledge of OSHA Compliance
- Ability to proficiently speak, write, and read the English language
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam
- Must have knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations governing safe driving, Hours of Service, inspection and maintenance basics
- Must meet or exceed the medical standards of the U.S. DEPT OF TRANSPORTATION
- Must satisfactorily pass a drug test, alcohol test, and background check
- Must be able to meet the physical demands of the work and the industry
- Must be insurable with the company
- High school diploma or GED required
