Job Summary
Technician positions at TAIT involve testing, maintaining, and repairing refueling equipment and ensuring regulatory compliance for UST/AST systems across a variety of sites (gas stations, marinas, airports). Training is provided, including ~4 weeks of initial training in Richardson, TX, with 25–50% overnight travel during training and 50–75% overnight travel thereafter, sometimes 2–3 weeks at a time during peak seasons. Responsibilities include completing required training (40-hour HAZWOPER), performing compliance tests (spill bucket, vapor recovery, A/B Inspections, etc.), troubleshooting and repairing UST/AST equipment, submitting reports/timecards, communicating with clients, and working independently following safety protocols. The role accommodates both Entry-Level and Experienced Technicians, with qualification emphasis on relevant certifications, proficiency with hand tools, and strong communication skills. Physical ability to travel and perform field work is required; a background check, MVR, and drug test are part of the process. - Valid/Current ICC UST/AST certification
- Veeder Root Install/Removal certification
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to travel/field work
