Fuel Storage Tank Service Technician

Job Summary
Technician to test, maintain, and repair refueling equipment and ensure regulatory compliance for underground/aboveground storage tank systems (UST/AST) across fuel sites (gas stations, marinas, airports). Training provided with initial 4-week session in Richardson, TX and up to 50-75% overnight travel after. Responsibilities include completing training (40-hour HAZWOPER), performing compliance tests (spill bucket, vapor recovery, A/B inspections), troubleshooting and repairing UST/AST equipment, submitting reports/timecards, communicating with clients, and adhering to safety protocols; work both independently and in the field, with a company-provided truck and tools and potential for remote/hybrid considerations in scheduling (flexible work arrangements).
Required Qualifications
- Entry-Level to Experienced Techs: ICC UST/AST certification (current) and Veeder Root Install/Removal certification for experienced
- 40-hour HAZWOPER training
- Basic mechanical knowledge, hand tools, and computer skills (email, Microsoft Office)
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Ability to travel 50-75% overnight after training
- Strong troubleshooting and ability to read technical drawings or service manuals (preferred)
