Job Summary
Oversee daily fuel station operations, including fuel sales, merchandise inquiries, and equipment maintenance. Deliver outstanding customer service by resolving issues promptly, driving sales through suggestive selling, and ensuring pumps and displays remain customer-ready. Recruit, train, and coach associates while managing schedules to control labor costs and support career development. Monitor inventory levels, conduct financial controls, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Protect company assets by enforcing security procedures and reporting suspicious activity. Serve as manager-in-charge during shifts, maintaining operational readiness during peak periods and emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail, fuel station, convenience store, or customer service experience
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier loads with assistance when necessary
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to safely operate fuel station equipment and material handling devices
