Job Summary
Fuel Operations Manager leads field operations for aviation fuel services, coordinating with airlines and airport authorities, overseeing fuel delivery, refueling, quality control, and storage; responsible for safety, regulatory compliance (FAA, EPA, NFPA), crisis management, and continuous process improvement, including budgeting, reporting, and driving operational efficiency through training and leadership of the operations team. The role requires collaboration with senior leadership, liaison with airport authorities, and maintaining high service standards while ensuring compliance and readiness for emergencies.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of Leadership/Operational experience
- Prior fuel experience required
- Project Management experience a plus
- Intermediate/Highly proficient Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Must have a valid state-issued driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language, to include documents
- Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
- Effective communication with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
- Background check and drug screen
- Eligibility to acquire needed credentials and clearances (FAA, TSA, Port Authority, U.S. Customs and U.S. Postal- as applicable)
- Must be flexible to work extended hours on occasion to support field operations
