Job Summary
Fuel and lubricate heavy equipment in the field, including daily servicing at Lube Islands and large loading equipment. Assist with PM/Lube Services, performing oil and filter changes, and help with lube extraction/refilling during repairs. Complete equipment and area walk-arounds, safety checks, and field-level risk assessments to ensure all machinery operates properly. Report any necessary repairs to the maintenance team immediately and ensure compliance with all safety policies and procedures. This physically demanding role involves general yard cleanup and assisting mechanics as directed by the maintenance supervisor.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class 3 Driver's License with Air Brake Endorsement
- Must be able to operate a standard vehicle
- Must be a self-starter
- Previous experience in the serviceperson role
- A safety-first attitude
- Attentive and possess strong listening skills
- Be proficient in English, both verbally and written
- Valid CSO
- Silica Awareness
- Wood Buffalo Wildlife Awareness
- OHS Alberta Legislation
- Field Ergonomics
- Be subject to Random Testing
- Pass Breath Alcohol Test
- Pass Urine Drug Test
- Pass Fitness-to-Work Health Assessment

Desired Qualifications
- Preference will be given to candidates with related experience
- Experience operating forklift, bobcat and loader
- Aerial Work Platform (AWP) and Fall Arrest Certification
- Access to Suncor, Syncrude and Syncrude Aurora & Kearl
- High school diploma, GED, and/or post-secondary education
